Ordered- took some time. Running 70b llm's without any issues under Linux. This thing is a beast. Nemotron is running faster than lightspeed (instant response) Getting slower on 70b+ models but still acceptable. 👌

I don’t usually write reviews, but I simply had to share my experience with this machine, because it’s rare to find a product this well-designed at such a good price.
I bought the Beelink GTR9 Pro specifically for running LLMs, as a compact but powerful “second machine” next to my main desktop workstation:
AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (16 cores, 128MB cache, 4.3–5.7GHz, AM5) + AORUS GeForce RTX™ 5090 MASTER ICE 32G + 256GB DDR5 Kingston Fury Beast 5600MHz
And honestly: what this mini PC can do is absolutely impressive.
Apps like Ollama, LM Studio and Hyperlink run perfectly. I’m still testing things, but it’s already clear that it performs extremely well for LLM workloads. A huge advantage is that the system can effectively handle up to 96GB of VRAM, which can be a real game changer, because it allows you to run much larger models smoothly than you would ever expect from a mini PC.
That said, it’s important to be realistic:
this is not really the right machine for diffusion models / image generation.
It can handle some of them, but if you’re serious about AI image generation or training, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 5090 is simply unbeatable, and it’s in a completely different league.
Another thing worth mentioning: the included 2TB SSD becomes very limiting very quickly, especially if you download and store a lot of models. Luckily, the machine is upgradeable, and I strongly recommend expanding storage as soon as possible — I already ordered 2×4TB SSDs for it, because long-term it’s the only comfortable way to use it.
Overall, for the purpose I bought it for, I honestly believe there is hardly any better mini PC in terms of price/performance. The Frost Silver design looks great, the build quality feels premium, and the whole product feels very solid and well-made.
To be honest: I would happily buy a second one, because I doubt it will be easy to get this much performance at this price in the coming years.
Highly recommended if you want a powerful mini PC for running LLMs, and you understand that it’s not meant to replace a high-end NVIDIA GPU for image generation or training.
