Hi,

Would you agree to share the source code of the BIOS ?

Thanks,

PS: I updated the BIOS to 0.14. It doesn't fix the booting issue with most Linux distributions.

hi

This version of the BIOS is also applicable to the Gemini X45 basic. After the update, the CPU frequency and thermal power consumption will be increased. Under full load operation, in order to achieve heat dissipation, the fan speed will increase and there will be a slight fan rotation sound.
If the current performance is enough and you hate a bit of noise, you don't need to update it.

best regards

Did u run a Windows Defender test? Mine says the file contains a virus

Given that this is a BIOS file and it writes directly to the hardware, Defender very likely gave a false positive.  I have applied it to my X55 and everything appears to work as it should.  I admit that I have not tested every single part of the BIOS's functions, but it's working properly on my X55 for day-to-day use.

I just ran Comodo Antivirus, MalwareBytes Anti-malware, and Hitman Pro against the .ROM image and got no warnings about viruses or any other problems.  These results suggest even more that Defender reported a false positive.  You could try sending it to VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com/) if you feel like sending 8GB over your internet connection.

What "8GB" are you talking about?
The file is only 4.5mb isn't it?
